• After four days of intense shopping, it was our last morning at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, Maine. To get a head start, I went out in the bitter cold to start loading up our car before breakfast. On the way to the car, I'd noticed frosty outlines of leaves on the asphalt walkways.
