On Rutgers and Cherry Street. "What the f**k you're taking my picture for?" he shouted. At that point the crowd of 30+ and a dozen or so police officers turned their heads towards me. It's bad enough the crowd wasn't pleased that he and his friends were getting arrested, now suddenly I needed to worry that they might focus their frustration on me. As an officer started heading towards my direction, to diffuse the situation I raised my finger-tips up, waist level, palms facing outwards and did the "whoa" thing, while shaking my head "no" to indicate I was stopping. Whew! All that for just one quick shot.
