That’s one tough-looking piece of equipment. Looks like it is made from a WW2 bomb. Great detail on the surface.

I'm not sure, but it appears to be made out of a chunk of lead or mixture of lead. It does look like the top of a bomb! This is the old-style public water fountains around the city parks. If it wasn't for the copper spout, we'd all get lead poisoning after drinking from it! :)
