Accident at Former Hard Rock Cafe

At approximately 1:15pm, I came across this scene at the former Hard Rock Cafe on 57th Street. Apparently a workman fell injuring his head and leg on the second floor balcony. It was amazing to watch all the emergency services converge on the scene. Everyone did their part like it was rehearsed hundreds of times, rescuing this individual and bringing him down safely. It was great to be up close and seeing New York's finest at work!

Are they closing the Hard Rock Cafe? Or just remodeling it?

Closing that location. After 21 years at 57th Street, they moved to the heart of Times Square, at 1501 Broadway, between 43rd & 44th Street.
