It was wonderful and fun to hear the Beatles' songs performed live. This group is the #1 Beatles tribute band.

I have no idea on the location of this building! It was early in the morning, I'd changed to my 70-200mm lens and while walking, shot away.
I love the subtle colors near the top.

Unfortunately I flew in a bit too late to wander around New Orleans, LA. I'd walked around the French Quarters after 5pm and most shops were closed or closing. Around 6pm, I decided to head back to the hotel. It was getting dark, I wasn't sure how long it would take to walk back to the hotel, plus I needed to get to the restaurant for dinner by 7pm, which was 3 miles away from the hotel.
Only later during dinner did I find out how dangerous it was to walk around certain areas, especially in the dark and with a camera hanging around my neck!
I envy my colleague and photoblog buddy (The Daily Drink) Justin! He's staying in town for a few days longer with his wife and some local friends. It's a beautiful city (from what I was able to see!), and I'd wished I could've had time to take in the sights! It's definitely on the agenda of trips with the family.

The Sidewalks are Paved with...gum?!?!

It's unbelievable! At first I thought it was bird droppings, then looking at the amount of coverage, I thought maybe paint. But upon closer examination, it was gum!!!
