Pumpkin Seeds

Every Halloween, my wife uses that occasion as an excuse to buy up all the pumpkins in the county. There are pumpkins on the front porch, pumpkins in the living room, pumpkins in the kitchen, pumpkins in hall entrance, etc. You get the picture. After Halloween, with fervor, she rips out the seeds from the pumpkins, one pumpkin after another...rinses the seeds...puts them out to dry...salts them and finally roasts them in the oven.

In the end, they're the most expensive pumpkin seeds we've ever eaten!
