first of all, your shots are amazing, second of all, i saw you posted in the Canon EOS forums on the question the guy asked about the lens on the D.R. you said these pictures are from that camera? well neway i was just wondering if these pics are from that camera, how'd you get this one "pigeon hotel" and "a tree grows in.." to be black and white? or do they just look like that naturally? im just annoyed cuz the rebel doesnt have a black and white mode, and the only way iv heard to do it is in photoshop. and my sony laptop cant even handle photoshop7. so im kinda screwed if thats how you did it. but yeah, E-Mail me at emoskater29@hotmail.com or IM me on AIM at xinblacknwhitex.
Thanks alot, -Mike

Thanks for looking at my photos.

Sorry but you may be out of luck, I'd used Photoshop to convert to b&w.

The DRebel is a fantastic camera and if you are going with a digital camera, you should definitely think about getting a new laptop/computer, with plenty of hard disk space.

I think there's another software that you might want to try, it's called Paint Shop Pro by JASC (www.jasc.com) and it may run on your computer. I think there's a free trial version you can try.

Let me know if this product works on your computer and your final decision.
