7th Annual Chocolate Show - New York 2004

We attended the Chocolate Show and had a ball. Every booth we stopped at, we made it a point to try out the samples. After, how could you not? It's chocolate! And the aromas...we were in chocolate heaven!!!
The place was mobbed. When we'd arrived, the line was long enough but when we left at the end of the day, it was wrapped around the block! Throughout the day, there was a steady stream of people going in, and at $20 per person plus $10 per child, maybe the MTA should take lessons.
Barnes & Noble had a ton of chocolate and dessert books. They'd even posted schedules of signings. We got Jacques Torres and Francois Payard to autograph their books.
Throughout the day, there were cooking demonstrations and if you weren't early enough to get a seat, you'd end up standing with most people on tiptoes trying to view it. Guess which group we fell into? Hint: We're not exactly tall.
After all the free samples, we still bought a few boxes of chocolate! Can't wait till next year, I bringing plastic baggies to fill up!!!
