Orange Cone Madness

This week is a good time to stay home from work or away from the midtown area. With the Republican G.O.P. Convention here this week, getting around is pure madness. The huge anti-Bush rally and the senseless sweeping arrests of the Critical Mass bicyclists, including bystanders, took place this weekend.

Miles of orange cones were placed to create lanes for Police and other emergency vehicles. Police presence is on every corner, even students were called for duty from the Police Academy.

If you want to raise your blood pressure or have a stroke, then drive around midtown this week!
